Eyes of Wakanda: Black Panther animation arrives on Disney+

Marvel Studios has just released another installment of its animated universe. This time, Eyes of Wakanda, the production that marks the beginning of Phase Six of the MCU, has arrived on Disney+.

With only four episodes, the animated series expands the mythology of Wakanda through different eras of history, focusing on the secret missions of its most loyal warriors.

Created by Todd Harris and executive produced by Ryan Coogler, Kevin Feige, and Brad Winderbaum, the series presents a new perspective on the Black Panther universe.

This time, the narrative moves away from the figure of the king and focuses on the agents known as Hatut Zeraze, responsible for protecting vibranium around the world. Each episode takes place in a different historical period, revealing how Wakanda has quietly influenced global events. The plot follows the search for artifacts forged with vibranium. These missions connect unfamiliar characters with names already familiar to the audience.

The protagonist of the journey is Noni, a young warrior who works alongside figures like The Lion. The series also features Danai Gurira, who reprises the role of Okoye, strengthening the ties to the Black Panther films.

With a visual style inspired by African-American painting, the animation stands out for its style, which differs from previous Marvel Studios Animation productions. The art direction draws from influences like Ernie Barnes, which gives the narrative a fresh feel.
