It’s time to return to Pandora. 20th Century Studios has released the first trailer for “Avatar: Fire and Ashes,” the third chapter in the saga of the Na’vi people told by filmmaker James Cameron.

The trailer shows Jake Sully’s family and the Metkayina joining forces to fight the Varang and his fiery forces, who have allied with the villain Quaritch. Varang and his tribe have an affinity for fire, and their flames burn parts of Pandora’s forest. “Your goddess has no dominion here,” she says ominously at the end of the trailer.
The cast includes the return of Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Britain Dalton, Jack Champion, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Bailey Bass, Joel David Moore, Edie Falco, and Dileep Rao. Franchise debuts include Oona Chaplin, David Thewlis, and Michelle Yeoh. The script and direction are by James Cameron.
“Avatar: Fire and Ashes” hits Brazilian theaters on December 18th.
