After trailer, ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 2’ releases synopsis

‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 2,’ the long-awaited sequel to Blumhouse’s horror hit based on the iconic video game franchise, has received an official synopsis.

Check it out, with photos and the dubbed trailer for the sequel:

In 2023, Blumhouse’s horror box office phenomenon, Five Nights at Freddy’s—based on Scott Cawthon’s acclaimed video game series—became the highest-grossing horror film of the year. Now, a shocking new chapter in animatronic horror begins.

A year has passed since the supernatural nightmare at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Stories about what happened there have been distorted and transformed into an exaggerated local legend, inspiring the town’s first Fazfest.

Former security guard Mike (Josh Hutcherson) and police officer Vanessa (Elizabeth Lail) have hidden the truth about the fate of their animatronic friends from Mike’s 11-year-old sister, Abby (Piper Rubio).

But when Abby runs away to reconnect with Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, it sets off a terrifying chain of events, revealing dark secrets about the true origins of Freddy’s—and unleashing a long-forgotten horror hidden for decades.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 stars Theodus Crane as Jeremiah and the legendary Matthew Lillard as William Afton. The film introduces new characters played by Freddy Carter (Pennyworth), Wayne Knight (Jurassic Park), Mckenna Grace (Ghostbusters franchise, Annabelle 3), and horror icon Skeet Ulrich (Scream, Riverdale).
